Majed Ismail

Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) • Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Majed Ismail is an Egyptian space and satellite technology specialist with extensive experience in the development and management of national space programmes. Prior to becoming CEO of EgSA, he held several senior positions within the agency, including Sector Head, Assistant Director and Director of the Space Technology Centre. He also chaired the Space Technology Transfer Programme Management Committee and served as a member of the EgSA Board of Directors.

He holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and has been involved in Egypt’s National Space Technology Transfer Programme since 2008, with expertise in strategic programmes and projects related to space and satellite technology.
