Enrico ZAPPINO

Enrico Zappino is an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Torino, specializing in structural analysis and advanced modeling techniques. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Mul2 research group and has co-authored numerous papers published in leading international journals. His research spans structural and multi-field analysis, manufacturing process simulations, and 3D printing of materials for aerospace applications. Over the years, he has actively contributed to research projects with the European Space Agency and the European Union, collaborating with both industrial and academic partners.

A long-standing member of the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIDAA) he is also a member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and of the Congress and Symposia Advisory Committee (CSAC) within the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). In 2024, he served as Executive Project Manager for the organization of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
