Enrico Zappino

Enrico Zappino is an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Torino, specializing in structural analysis and advanced modelling techniques. Since 2010, he has been part of Mul2 research group and has coauthored numerous papers published in leading international journals. His research focuses on structural analysis, multi-field analysis, manufacturing process simulations, and 3D printing of materials for aerospace applications. Enrico earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering, where he developed innovative 1D, 2D, and 3D models for the analysis of aerospace structures. He has actively participated in research projects with the European Space Agency and the European Union, collaborating with industrial and academic partners. A member of the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIDAA) for over 10 years, he has also held a teaching role since 2011 and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. Additionally, he served as Executive Project Manager for the organization of IAC 2024.
