Toru Yamamoto

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)Project Manager, Commercial Removal of Debris Demonstration (CRD2), Research and Development Directorate

Toru Yamamoto holds an M.E. degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Tokyo and began his career at JAXA. Following a period as a guest scientist at DLR, he has concentrated on the research and development of spacecraft navigation sensors, rendezvous, and formation flying. He currently leads JAXA's research in active debris removal.
