Dr Lucinda King is a Mission Concepts Engineer in BAE Systems Space Business Unit with 10 years of experience in space systems engineering, across both academia and industry. They are passionate about developing new space mission concepts and working in interdisciplinary teams to derive robust requirements and generate innovative solutions. Their research and development work currently focuses on in-orbit servicing, including systems modelling and spacecraft modularisation roadmapping. They are also involved with the application of MBSE and concurrent engineering principles to space system engineering. Their research has previously included asteroid mining, navigation systems and passive radar, and their PhD thesis was on GNSS-Reflectometry.
