Shukhrat Kadirov

Shukhrat Kadirov is the Director of the Space Research and Technology Agency under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Dr. Kadirov was born in 1976 in Tashkent. He holds a PhD in Economic Sciences. He graduated in 1998 from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications (currently known as Tashkent University of Information Technologies) with a specialty in communication engineering.

In 2020, Dr. Kadirov was appointed as the first Director of the newly established Uzbekspace Agency, with a pivotal mission to recreate the space industry in Uzbekistan.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Dr. Kadirov is recognized as a qualified specialist possessing deep knowledge and practical skills in management within the fields of information and communication technologies, telecommunication systems, mobile communication, and space research and technology.
