Onur TARAKÇIOĞLU

Dr. Onur Tarakçıoğlu is an electrical & electronics engineer with a career spanning telecommunications, UAV systems, and space technologies. He started his career as a Project Engineer at Netmon Inc., delivering telecom infrastructure projects for global leaders such as Nortel and Huawei. During his M.Sc. studies in Sweden, he contributed to Mini UAV R&D initiatives. He joined Turkish Aerospace in 2006 and progressed through key technical and leadership roles across the Space Systems domain, including Real-Time Electronics Design, Systems Engineering, Business Planning & Development, and Program Management. He led major satellite programs, including communications and radar observation missions. He holds a Ph.D. focused on Machine Learning-based fault prediction for large-scale satellite constellations. As of April 2026, serves as Executive Vice President, Space Systems at Turkish Aerospace Industries.
