Grégoire Hauser

Mr. Grégoire Hauser holds the space portfolio as a scientific officer at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland. Since 2026, he has been a member of the Swiss delegations to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) and the European Space Agency (ESA). From 2015 to 2025, he notably contributed to the design and implementation of the Swiss Polar Policy and supported Switzerland’s successful bid to obtain Observer status to the Arctic Council in 2017, subsequently serving in the Swiss delegation. He was also a member of the Swiss delegations to the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings and the Committee for Environmental Protection (2019–2025). He holds a Master’s degree in Geosciences from the University of Lausanne.
