Benedetta Cattani is the co-founder and CEO of Ecosmic, a Space Domain Awareness company building the software layer to for security in orbit. She is a space engineer with experience at the European Space Agency, where she met her co-founders and contributed to projects on space-debris mitigation, active debris removal and in-orbit servicing within the Clean Space Initiative. At Ecosmic, Benedetta scaled the company’s first space traffic management product SAFE from a prototype to an operational solution employed by 70+ satellites. She leads Ecosmic’s strategy, steering and defining the company’s roadmap and managing Ecosmic’s expansion into new markets.
