Dr. Wang is Professor and Director of the key lab of Space Manufacturing Technology (SMT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He proposed and designed the On-line Maintenance and Adjustment Operation Rack which now is serving in Chinese Space Station. Since 2016, SMT implemented a series of manufacturing experiments in microgravity, covering plastics, metal, ceramics and fibers. Dr. Wang and his team is preparing the first 3D printer “Space Additive Manufacturing Experiment, SAME” for Chinese Space Station. Now, Dr. Wang is leading the establishment of the Centre for Space Manufacturing Technology in Hong Kong.
