Imane El Khantouti

Imane El Khantouti is an aerospace engineer and project manager She holds an Aerospace Engineering degree.

Since 2020, Imane has contributed to nanosatellite projects across Europe, starting at the Centre Spatial Universitaire de Grenoble, focusing on CubeSat payload systems. She later served as a Project Management Officer at Absolut Sensing in Toulouse, overseeing satellite and payload subcontractors for a nanosatellite constellation. Currently, she is a Project Manager at TEKEVER Space, leading the development of inter-satellite link subsystems for CNES and ESA space missions, including the HERA Mission and the RAMSES mission.

In addition to her professional career, Imane co-leads program management for the Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry (MISI), promoting Morocco’s space capabilities through education, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships. As a former National Point of Contact for Morocco with the Space Generation Advisory Council, she represented her country in UN technical committees and supported space startups in Africa and the Middle East. She also serves as Vice Chair for the IAF ACCESS African Subcommittee.

Recognized as one of the “10 under 30 in the African Space Industry” (2020) and an Emerging Space Leader by the International Astronautical Federation (2023), Imane was also nominated for Forbes Afrique’s 30 Under 30 list. She continues to drive innovation and promote space development in emerging regions like Morocco.
