Iliass Tanouti

Iliass Tanouti is an aerospace engineer committed to harnessing space technology for sustainable development and community empowerment. He holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Master’s in Space Studies from ISU.

As VP of Delivery & Customer Success at constellr, he leads the delivery of thermal Earth observation data and solutions that support the responsible management of Earth’s land and water resources. He also serves as Space Lead at Je m’engage pour l’Afrique, a public policy incubator empowering young Africans to design solutions for the continent’s development. In 2024, he co-authored Drawing from Above, raising awareness among African policymakers of the opportunities space can bring.

He is a 2025 Emerging Space Leader (IAF) and was named one of the Top 10 Under 30 Africans in the Space Industry. Iliass has also served as Regional Coordinator for Africa at SGAC and Ambassador for Africa at ISU.

At the intersection of technology, business, policy, and education, Iliass works to shape a future where space innovation drives sustainable development, strengthens resilience, and empowers communities worldwide.
