Gaspard TWAGIRAYEZU

Rwanda Space Agency • Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gaspard Twagirayezu is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rwanda Space Agency (RSA), the national agency with the mandate of developing the space sector for socio-economic development. Prior to his appointment as the CEO of RSA, he served as the Minister of Education in Rwanda. Before this, he was Minister of State in charge of Primary and Secondary Education. Mr. Twagirayezu also served as a Senior Policy and Strategy Analyst in the Office of the President, and Science and Technology Policy Analyst at the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST). Mr. Twagirayezu holds a Masters Degree of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Engineering Management from Oklahoma Christian University in the United States, where he also completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
