C. Milena A. Lerario is CEO of e-GEOS, the joint venture between Telespazio and the Italian Space Agency, and Senior Vice President of Telespazio’s Geoinformation Line of Business. She also leads the Services Centre of Excellence of Leonardo Space and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Avio, representing Leonardo.

C. Milena A. Lerario brings more than 20 years of international experience in the space sector: she graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, specialising in Aerodynamics, and began her career at Airbus in Germany in 2008. She subsequently held senior management positions in Germany, France and the United Kingdom, covering aircraft production and certification, Corporate Audit, Human Resources and space manufacturing. From 2018 to 2022, based in Madrid, she served as Head of Space Production for Airbus Spain, overseeing the production of satellites and launchers and leading the transformation and optimisation of industrial plant processes.

In April 2022, she was appointed CEO of Airbus Italia, on behalf of Airbus Defence & Space, with responsibility for driving the company’s transformation from a service-oriented organisation towards serial manufacturing.

Since September 2024, she is CEO of e-GEOS, where she leads the company’s activities in Earth Observation and Geoinformation services, with a focus on innovation and digital transformation.
