Milenia Lerario

Milena Lerario is an aerospace engineer and a senior executive with more than 20 years of international experience in the aerospace and space sector. She graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, specialising in Aerodynamics, and began her career in 2008 with Airbus in Germany. She subsequently held senior management positions across Airbus in Germany, France, Spain and Italy, spanning aircraft production and certification, Corporate Audit, Human Resources and space manufacturing.

From 2018 to 2022, she led Airbus spacecraft production in Madrid, driving industrial transformation, innovation and digitalisation. In 2022, she was appointed Managing Director of Airbus Italia, where she led the company's transformation and growth in the space and defence sector.

Since September 2024, Milena Lerario has been CEO of e-GEOS, the joint venture between Telespazio and the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and Senior Vice President of Telespazio's Geo-Information Business Line. She leads the company's activities in Earth Observation and geoinformation services, with a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation and applications supporting society and the environment.
