Stéphane Henry

Stéphane Henry retired from ArianeGroup in 2023. He is graduated from Sup'Aéro (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et Espace), and IHEDN Defence Institute. After activities in aerodynamic research at ONERA and CAD-CAM developments in start-ups, he joined ArianeGroup (previously SNPE, then Herakles) in 1991. He managed design teams, then research and development projects and programs. His domains of expertise mainly cover energetic materials, solid propulsion, pyrotechnics and hybrid propulsion, including industrial aspects. During his final experience in corporate strategy, he acquired also a comprehensive knowledge of propulsion technologies developed by ArianeGroup. He is member of IAF Space Propulsion TC since 2011, and an active Emeritus member of 3AF aeronautic association.
