Shaun Wilson is the founder and CEO of systems engineering house, Shoal Group, a firm which focuses on the early-stage design of large, complex, technology-intensive systems in defence, space, transport, and infrastructure markets in Australia and overseas. During his career, Shaun has led a range of technology initiatives including development of the first in-service Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for the Australian Army, early development of broadband communications capability for Antarctica using small satellites, practical implementation of Digital Engineering for large, complex systems, and modern approaches to spaceflight safety assessment. He has also co-founded and advised several advanced technology companies.
