Mehak Sarang

Open Lunar Foundation • Director, Industry Integration

Mehak Sarang is the Director of Industry Integration at the Open Lunar Foundation, where she leads partnerships and strategic initiatives to support Open Lunar's vision of peaceful and sustainable lunar exploration. She previously held leadership roles at ispace U.S. and Masten Space Systems, managing payload integration for NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) missions and developing communications infrastructure for a lunar farside mission. Mehak has also contributed to lunar governance research at MIT’s Space Exploration Initiative and contributed to space economics and business research at Harvard Business School. A recipient of the Susan Rappaport Knafel Traveling Fellowship, she has conducted global field research on the societal impact of public-private partnerships in space. She holds a B.A. in Physics and Philosophy from Wellesley College and has published widely on lunar governance, space commercialization, and international space collaboration.
