Dr. Yi Yuan serves as a Research Professor at the Research Center for Space Computing Systems, Zhejiang Lab, China. His primary responsibilities focus on open science initiatives and international collaboration. He received his joint PhD in Wireless Communications from the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University, both in Edinburgh, UK, in 2014. He has been an IET Chartered Engineer (CEng) since 2019. With over ten years of industrial research and engineering experience, his interdisciplinary work bridges space computing systems, wireless modeling and simulation, and intelligent system standardization. He specializes in synergizing AI algorithms with onboard processing for next-generation space applications.
