Sergey MIKAEV

ROSCOSMOS • Cosmonaut

Sergei Nikolayevich Mikayev is a Russian cosmonaut affiliated with Roscosmos. He trained at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, after being selected as a cosmonaut candidate. Mikayev was initially assigned as a reserve crew member for the Soyuz MS-27 mission. He later made his first spaceflight aboard Soyuz MS-28, which launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on 27 November 2025. He served as a member of Expeditions 73/74 aboard the International Space Station (ISS), contributing to long-duration operations and research in orbit.
