Ella Carlsson

Dr. Ella Carlsson is the Director General of the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA) operating under the Swedish Ministry of Education and Research. She serves as Sweden’s Head of Delegation to the European Space Agency (ESA). Dr. Carlsson holds a PhD in Physics, with research focused on the space plasma environment and water-related geological features on Mars. Prior to joining SNSA, Colonel Carlsson served as the Chief of Space within the Swedish Armed Forces.
