Caroline Laurent

Caroline Laurent is Director of Orbital Systems and Applications at CNES, the French Space Agency, and a member of its Executive Board. Before joining CNES in 2019, she was Director of Strategy at the DGA (French Defense Procurement Agency) and promoted to the rank and title of Senior General Engineer for Armaments.

Caroline Laurent is a graduate of the École Polytechnique (class of 1982), the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace(1987), and a former auditor of the Centre for Advanced Armament Studies (2004-2005. She is an Officer of the Legion of Honor, an Officer of the National Order of Merit, and has been awarded the Medal of Aeronautics.
