Djamal Darfilal is a research scientist and Spacecraft Propulsion Engineer with over 12 years of experience in satellite development, propulsion systems, CubeSat missions, and spacecraft integration. Currently leading the development, qualification, and flight preparation of a 2U green propulsion system for a 6U CubeSat mission at Khalifa University. Previously served as a Propulsion Systems Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (SSTL, UK) and as Senior Researcher at the Algerian Space Agency. Experienced in laboratory establishment, propulsion testing, ADCS development, and spacecraft qualification, with expertise spanning the complete lifecycle of satellite missions from design to flight demonstration.
